Ayurveda is a complete system of medicine that considers body, mind and spirit in the diagnosis and treatment of patients. A large part of Ayurveda is spiritual, which is different from Western medicine. According to Ayurvedic beliefs, some of the factors that cause the disease are the planetary influences, evil spirits, and acts of the gods. Another way to distinguish Ayurveda is that the remedies are natural and not lab created. Because they are made with natural ingredients, resources are not toxic and generally free of side effects. These remedies will cure even if you do not believe in the spiritual aspects.
