Body Scrub For Vitality

There are many small steps we can take to enhance our health and well being without any cost at all and requiring little time and effort. This excellent body scrub is one such small step. I learnt this technique while I studied at the home of Macrobiotics, The Kushi Institute, in Beckett, Mass, USA.

The practice of the body scrub is suitable for anyone over the age of twelve and should be completed once a day while in good health, however twice if you are undergoing a detoxifying process. It is simple to carry out, and it is consistency that is the key to maintaining optimum health. Often its the simplest practices that make the greatest difference.

In order to maintain and keep overall health, it is essential to understand that there is a process of exchange between the individual and  the environment. The Macrobiotic lifestyle is one where you live in harmony with your environment, including adjusting to seasonal changes.

If we maintain proper consumption patterns, by that I mean eating and exercise correctly,  the mind, body and spirit will remain in a harmonious state. When disease arises this is an outcome of imbalance and illness can occur.
